Spring Arts Preview

The sun today screams Spring Fever(!!!) - way too early, we know. But, the February issue of Seattle Metropolitan Magazine is feeling it too, with their Spring Arts Preview.

Some STG shows I saw highlighted are:
Seattle Rock Orchestra, February 19 at The Moore
Spectrum Dance Theatre, March 4-6 at The Moore
Billy Elliot The Musical, March 22-April 3 at The Paramount

Seattle is amazing. Our arts community is so creative, with so many offerings! Check out the full Spring Arts Preview in the Seattle Met. We're look forward to spring and beyond – bring on the sun!

The Lowdown on Art Zone

Seattle choreographer Amy O’Neal talked about her upcoming show THE LOWDOWN: An Unexpected Night of Seattle Dance Performance, at The Moore on February 11th, on Seattle Channel’s Art Zone with Nancy Guppy. Her segment starts at 22:30:

Tickets for THE LOWDOWN are on sale now - click here for more info and to buy! Hope to see you there.

Karaoke at The Paramount

This past Friday, Broadway Across America and The Stranger hosted a really fun (and free!) ROCK OF AGES karaoke party in the Paramount bar and lobby.

The talent was out and some of our guests were stunning in their 80s gear. I felt completely underdressed and really wished I had grabbed a curling iron for waterfall bangs :), some hair spray and some good rocker boots (I still have plenty).

VAIN was in full effect at the karaoke party giving everyone free 80s dos:

It was a super fun event - thanks to everyone for coming out! Hope you can join us when ROCK OF AGES hits The Paramount's stage February 8th through 13th - tickets and more info are available here.
