DANCE This 2009 arrives at The Paramount this Friday and Saturday!
click to enlarge collageThis week, the kids are dancing their booties off in workshops and rehearsals for a show that I can see already is going to be full of energy, rhythm, talent and cultures from around the world.
We have amazing young artists and athletes in Seattle, and it is so inspiring to see them in rehearsal working together in so many forms: Step, Martial Arts, Middle Eastern Dabke, Mexican Folk Dance, Contemporary, Tumbling, Double Dutch...PLUS, we'll have live musicians directed by Daniel Roumain, adding a new element this year.
The show is HOT, and you may even see a touch of MJ directed by our man Daniel Cruz. This is really a not to be missed moment in Seattle dance.
