You Want Our Next eNews. Trust Us.

Our weekly STG eNews always has awesome presale information, upcoming show details, Education events, community deals, etc etc etc. You know all this already, we're sure.

But seriously. If you haven't signed up for our eNews yet (ahem), we recommend doing so ASAP. Monday morning, a precious little gem of a presale will be sent - and since we usually send eNews on a Wednesday, you know it has to be a big deal for us to bug you on a Monday.

Family Workshops at the Zoo

I HEART FAMILY WORKSHOPS!!!

This past weekend we co-sponsored a workshop with the Woodland Park Zoo at the Zoo in African mask-making, dance & song - it also included a zoo tour of the Africa section of the Zoo (in celebration of The Lion King). Seeing both the kids and parents creating and dancing all together was ADORABLE and a special thing to be able to be part of. And seeing the little leopard and lion masks roaming around the Zoo was just AWESOME.

So great to see the community really experiencing art and our amazing teaching artists (Siya Manyakanyaka-Kelly, Teo Shantz and Marita Dingus) in action. This is when I know I love my job. Can’t wait for the next one at Langston Hughes Performing Arts Center on February 21 (little plug :).

Curtain Call!

We hope you can join our Executive Director, Josh LaBelle, STG staff and board members at our second CURTAIN CALL at Il Fornio in Pacific Place - tomorrow, Wednesday 1/28, from 5 - 7pm. CURTAIN CALL is a monthly happy hour where STG supporters come together to exchange info with STG's leadership. It's also a time to give input, get advance information on shows and have a drink with the largest arts organization in the Northwest.
