The 51st Annual Grammy nominations list was announced today - check out the looooong list here.
Locals Death Cab for Cutie are up for Best Rock Song and Best Alternative Album...
Who do you think are shoe-ins for the win - in any of the categories?
Radiohead seems like a good bet to win in their nominated categories, but you never know who the members of the Academy will throw their support behind.
All will be revealed at L.A.'s Staples Center on February 8, 2009.

Reading Rainbow
Hey East-Siders! We'll be in your area next week, chatting about THE COLOR PURPLE and how the Broadway musical takes the original story from the page to the stage.

Join us at the Bellevue Regional Library (1111 11th Ave NE, Bellevue) from 7-8pm on Monday, December 8th. It's free! You'll get a special opportunity to hear from Tony nominated Seattle-based choreographer Donald Byrd on the making of the movement behind the Broadway musical, THE COLOR PURPLE. The discussion will include footage of the musical, a discussion of the adaptation of the book to the musical and a question and answer discussion with Donald Byrd.
Feel free to email us for more information.
While we're talking about books...what would you think about an STG Book Club? We'd pick a book a month and see what kind of discussions evolve from there. Would you join us if we got it going?
